“Sonshine” Playgroup is held each Thursday morning (with the exception of school holidays) from 9:15—11:15am. The cost for admission is currently a nominal $5.00 per family.

The “aunties & uncles” you will meet are all volunteers from our church fellowship and will make you feel at home. They all have a Working With Children Card.

Outdoor facilities include a play area with a sandpit and digging toys, swings, slides and a cubby house, and also a designated area for riding bikes and toy cars. For the children’s safety, the outdoor areas are fenced off with locked gates.

In the main hall is a variety of toys and activities, and each week a different craft activity.

As part of our Playgroup Program each week, we have “mat time” at 10:15am where all the children (and parents) come together to sing songs and celebrate birthdays. During mat time there may be a short story for the children and, as a Christian run Playgroup, it will  usually have a Christian theme.

After mat time, at 10:45am, morning tea is provided for both the children and their parents. It is requested that parents bring a piece of fruit for the children to share at morning tea – all other food and drink is provided by the Playgroup.
