Mid-Week Ministries

Growth Groups
These are small groups which meet once a week to dig into the Bible together to grow in loving and living for Jesus. It’s also a great way to get to know people as we pray for each other and enjoy a cuppa together. Groups meet on different days, times and locations across the week so there are groups to suit everybody. Contact the church office for more information.

Young Adults
Young Adults meet regularly to study God’s Word together, as well as connect socially and with other Christians to encourage one another. A highlight of our year is our State Youth Games team which recently attracted a team size of 70 young adults as shown in the photo! Find out more on Instagram or Facebook @rockychurch.youngadults

Youth Groups
Youth Groups for school age children run on Friday nights during the school term. Young people are given the opportunity to learn about Jesus, enjoy games, eat good food and connect with other young people their age. Open to young people inside and outside our church family! Primary age youth (school years 1-5) run from 6-7:30pm ($2 per child) and High School age youth (school years 6-12) from 7-9pm ($3 per child). Sonshine Playgroup
The Sonshine Playgroup runs on Thursdays during school terms from 9:15am-11:15am. $5 per family. For families with children in kindy age and below. Christian based, fun for kids, great for social interaction, meet other families from the community with similar aged children, and maybe even learn a little bit about Jesus too.

Take-a-Break Craft
Learn a new craft, enjoy an old hobby, brush up on your computing skills or just come and ‘take-a-break’ on Wednesdays at 9:15am-12pm for $3.

Friday Friendlies
Get together over a board game to enjoy some company, have a laugh and chat, and afternoon tea. Fortnightly Fridays from 1:15pm-4:00pm. All welcome whether you are part of the church family or not. This group currently meets offsite, so contact the church office for location and next meeting date. We’d love to see you there!
We encourage every member of the church family to be involved in serving and using the gifts that Jesus has given you to build up the body of Christ and serve the cause of the gospel.
